Locksmith Services in Charlotte, NC
Automotive, residential and commercial — every job done on-site by a licensed mobile technician, with an upfront quote on the phone.
How do I know which service I need?
Match the symptom rather than the label. If you are standing outside a car or a door and the key exists but is on the wrong side of it, that is a lockout — the job is opening, nothing else. If the key is genuinely gone, that is key replacement, which takes longer and costs more because a new key has to be made against the vehicle and paired to it rather than copied. If the key still works but you no longer want it to — a tenant moved out, an employee left, a house changed hands — that is rekeying, and it keeps the hardware you already own. If a remote stopped working but the key still turns in the ignition, start with the battery before assuming the fob has failed. Not sure which of those you have? Describe it on the phone and we will tell you, including when the answer is that you do not need us.

Four things shorten every call, whichever service it turns out to be. For a vehicle: the year, make and model, and whether it starts with a turned key or a button — that decides which equipment travels with the technician. For a property: which door, and whether it is a knob lock, a deadbolt, or something electronic. For anything involving keys: how many working keys still exist, not how many you have lost. And proof you have the right to be there — photo ID with a registration, lease, utility bill, or authorization from the owner or manager on record. That last one can be locked inside; we check once the door is open. Having these to hand is the difference between a quote on the first call and a second call to fill in the gaps.
